Hi, my name is Katie, a photographer and mum of two

based in West Sussex.

From a young age I loved looking through my grandad's old photographs from his National Service days, and family life.

For me it was such a joy to see and learn about my family through photos captured before I was born.

​

I initially studied graphic design at university and enjoyed combining photography with design. I started taking photographs properly over 10 years ago, when i got my first DSLR, mainly taking photographs of landscapes and wildlife. 

Since becoming a mum, my photography has become even more special. As a family we love having little adventures and it is such a joy seeing life through their eyes. They love looking through the photographs after a trip and the happiness it brings is the best feeling for me.

My photography is based on a passion for capturing moments that families will look back on in years to come and feel the way I did.

  Those candid moments between siblings, grandparents and their grandchildren, mums and dads is why I love being a photographer, creating images that in years to come will transport them back to a time and place bringing back special memories.

​

Whether I'm taking photographs of your family, a much-loved pet or you want to promote your business, I want you to feel comfortable. So, If there is a specific place you would like to have pictures taken I'm happy to discuss this at first contact. I also know how busy life can be, because of this I can offer one hour photo shoots if your time is limited. 

I love meeting new people and creating naturally lit images that tell a story and capture the spirit of the subject.
